Millersville Institutional Legacy Initiative
The Millersville Institutional Legacy Initiative (MILI) is an effort by the Archives & Special Collections to better understand and recognize Millersville’s history and legacy. Consistent with the EPPIIC Values of Exploration and Inclusion, the MILI conducts and shares research about the University's past to help shape our future for the benefit of our entire University community and beyond.
Current and past research efforts of the MILI include Millersville's historic connections with the Carlisle Indian Industrial School, the history of educational innovations at Millersville, and sharing previously-completed research projects more widely. We welcome ideas for student-led research projects, and occasionally offer paid research opportunities.
The MILI is directed by Frank Vitale, University Archivist & Special Collections Librarian.
