McNairy Library and Learning Forum Policies

With a few exceptions, rooms in the library are available on a first-come first-served basis.
 

Room 100, Alumni Reading Room

• Located on the first floor of the library adjacent Starbucks. 
• Square Footage: 808
• Approximate seating: 30
• Technology: None
• Furniture: Comfortable seating (sofa chairs with desks, ottomans and end tables). 

Room 117, Alumni Garden Room

• Located on the first floor of the library in the Knowledge Commons.
• Square footage: 772
• Approximate Seating: 20
• Technology: None
• Furniture: Comfortable seating (sofa chairs with desks and end tables). 

Room 502, Faculty Collaboratory - Note: The faculty collaboratory is for gatherings of faculty members from one or multiple departments across campus

• Square Footage: 725
• Approximate Seating: 19
• Technology: None
• Furniture: Couch, armchairs, tables with chairs, mobile whiteboards, sink

To reserve one of the rooms described above, please contact the Library Administrative Assistant by emailing Andie.Petrillo@millersville.edu with the following information:

1. Event Name
2. Contact Person and Telephone Extension
3. Date of Event
4. Time of Event (entire length, e.g. 2-4 PM)
5. Requested Room Number
6. Expected number of attendees

You will be asked to agree to the following terms and conditions upon approval of your request:

1. Light refreshments are permitted but prior permission is required to serve meals
2. You are responsible for cleaning up the room and must report large spills to the Circulation Desk or Library Operations Office immediately so that the Housekeeping Department can be contacted
3. You are responsible for furniture setup. If you need assistance, please fax the Housekeeping Department a diagram of your room layout (717-871-4884)
4. You are responsible for returning all furniture to its original position
5. You are responsible for arranging technology for your meeting room. Please complete the Tech Ops Event Request Form
