As you know, the First Year Experience (FYEX) courses are divided 70% for the academic center piece/course theme and 30% for the college transition topics. The library and librarians feature in both.
On the academic side, Outcome #3 states: Develop effective communication, critical thinking skills and dispositions, and information literacy skills to explore academic content. For more on this, please see the resources provided in this guide and/or consult with your department's librarian.
For the transition topics, we have creating a self-guided activity for students where they will learn how to engage, achieve and succeed with the help of McNairy Library's people, resources and services
