UNIV 103 - Children and Their Ideas: Citing Resources

Video - Citation, a very brief introduction

Why Cite? A few brief thoughts ...

  1. Credit where credit is due.
    • If you have quoted, paraphrased or summarized then you should be citing.
  2. If in doubt, cite it.
    • It's nearly impossible to get into trouble for "over citing" your sources.
  3. Demonstrates YOU have done your research.
    • Proper citing of sources lends credibility to your work.
